Moose Head is only 18 miles north of the Jackson Hole airport (JAC), which is serviced by several different airlines, and most guests find it easiest to fly right into Jackson. It can be considerably less expensive to fly to Salt Lake City, and Moose Head is a 5 hour drive from there. You will definitely want to rent a car while you are at the ranch, for running to town, going rafting or to the rodeo, Yellowstone or hiking. It is most convenient to rent through a company located at the airport rather than being shuttled to town.
