The Activities

Activities at MH

Horseback Riding

(offered only to guests staying at the ranch)

Saddle up and go for a morning, afternoon or an all-day ride (which is offered on Wednesdays). Moose Head’s minimum riding age is 6. Families and couples ride in small groups always accompanied by a wrangler. A brief instructional demo will be given on your first ride in our arena. Our rides are intended for the enjoyment and safety of both rider and horse. Our corral will match you with a horse and saddle based on height, weight, age and previous riding experience.

Fly Fishing

Don’t feel like riding?

Try fly-fishing on one of our well stocked ponds. We have the equipment and would love to teach you if you have the desire to learn.

The more experienced angler may want to fish the Snake River, which is easily accessible from the Ranch.
